In A White Room...
there's no black curtains but my hotel room is all white. Really. I'm staying at the latest addition to the Sofitel family in Vienna. Designed by the world-renowned French architect, Jean Nouvel his motto "presque rien - scarcely anything" is the formal principle for the hotel.
The guest rooms are limited to his choice of colors white, black and gray and include large glass, mirrored spaces to create the sense of scarcely anything. The "frames" of the windows highlight the beautiful views of this magnificent city requiring no additional art work for the room.
I'll be exploring the rest of the hotel later today. So stay tuned.
