Cappuccino Crunch Cake

Our friends at Crumble-Ons® have done it again. They've created another tasty treat with their S'Mores Crunch®. This time their yummy creation is perfect treat to bring out when a friend stops by for coffee or tea. 

If you're not familiar with Crumble-Ons S'Mores Crunch®, you should be. We first met our friends at the National Restaurant Association show in 2011. We were so impressed with the product and the company's story, we included them in our NRA round up.  This local, family-run Illinois company created Crumble-Ons®. They took the concept of the ever-popular campfire S'Mores and turned it into an easy-to-eat snack and condiment. They use small pieces of milk and chocolate coated marshmallows and buttery graham crackers. It's a tasty ingredient that can be used in many recipes including pancakes, ice cream, trail mix and much more to get that yummy S'More flavor. 

Inspired by the popular Texas Sheet Cake, this Cappuccino Crunch Cake recipe is sure to keep your friends and family coming back for S'More! 

What makes this recipe even better is that is stays crunchy up to five days when stored in an airtight container. It's great to bake and keep on hand for winter snacking or drop in guests. 

So, our thought is that you can add a little more sophistication to the fun of S'Mores with this delicious Cappuccino Crunch Cake and avoid the hassles of bad weather.

 

Cappuccino Crunch Cake

2 1/2 cups flour

3 T. cocoa

2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 cup margarine or butter

1 1/4 cups sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

1 T. plus 1 tsp. instant coffee granules

1 cup milk

2 cups S'mores Crunch

Chocolate syrup or white chocolate drizzle

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; set aside. Beat margarine and sugar until fluffy; beat in vanilla and eggs. Dissolve coffee granules in millk. Add dry ingredients alternately with mile to butter/sugar/egg mixture. Beat 1 minute. Purt into greased and floured 10"x14" jelly roll pan. Bake 12 minutes. Sprinkle S'Mores Crunch® over top. Bake 8 to 10 minutes longer or until set in center. Cool; drizzle with syrup or melted while chocolate drizzle. Chill before cutting. Stays crunchy up to five days when stored in an airtight container.
